oVERNIGHT FISHING TOUR in Puerto Vallarta

The Overnight Trip is Snook Mafia’s most complete experience. An expedition designed for passionate anglers who know that more time on the ocean means better reading of conditions, more opportunities, and more real fishing. This is not about heading out to test your luck—it’s about staying, adapting, and executing.

We navigate between 30 and 70 miles offshore, exploring multiple scenarios and moving strategically among some of the most productive spots in the Mexican Pacific: El Banco, 10’10, La Corbeteña, and the southern Vallarta Rooster Grounds. The primary target is tuna, without ruling out encounters with marlin, roosterfish, cubera snapper, and other high-value sport species.

The trip is available in 1.5, 2.5, and 3.5-day formats, allowing each group to tailor the experience to its level of ambition, available time, and fishing focus. All formats include meals, beverages, and full operation, so attention stays where it belongs: on the ocean and the fishing.

Real Adventure, No Filters

The Rustic format represents the essence of this expedition. It takes place aboard our 30 ft or 33 ft vessels, fully equipped for offshore operations. Sleeping is done onboard in sleeping bags, marine-camping style: simple, functional, and authentic. Depending on the boat, groups consist of 3 to 4 anglers, ensuring mobility, focus, and a personalized experience.

With over 20 years of experience fishing these waters, Snook Mafia offers a different approach from traditional charter operations. The fishing is primarily focused on popping with spinning gear and jigging—active techniques that demand reading conditions, physical effort, and decision-making. When conditions and equipment allow, live bait is used to target giant tuna, with no shortcuts and no inflated promises.

More Than Fishing: The Experience

When night falls, the expedition enters another dimension. Sleeping in open water, beneath a sky full of stars, far from noise, constant signal, and distractions, creates a sensation that is hard to replicate on land.

It is absolute freedom—a true disconnection from routine and everyday life. The rhythm of the sea, the silence, and the distance from society generate a deep sense of peace that redefines why we fish and why we return.
