MULTI DAY FISHING TOUR in Puerto Vallarta

Not a Trip. A Strategic Coastal Expedition

This is not a tour—it’s a calculated journey along the southern Mexican Pacific coast, where every mile holds history, every stop creates opportunity, and every cast has intent. This expedition is built for anglers who understand that fishing is not luck, but reading water, structure, and timing.

From Puerto Vallarta to the Unknown

We depart from Puerto Vallarta heading south, navigating and fishing over 100 miles of coastline. We explore remote zones few anglers truly know—and even fewer know how to fish properly. The expedition blends elite-level inshore fishing with selective offshore windows, adapting constantly to conditions, tides, and whatever the ocean decides to offer.

The Roosterfish Corridor

The first phase takes us into legendary roosterfish territory, stretching from Punta Izatán to Peñitas. Open beaches, rocky points, and living structure define this corridor, where roosterfish rule. We anchor overnight in Tehuamixtle Bay—an authentic, low-key destination where time slows down and fishing expectations rise.

Optional Shore Fishing by ATV

For those who want to push further, there is the option to fish from shore using ATVs. We cover untouched beaches and cast where almost no one reaches. Purely tactical, visual fishing—raw, demanding, and brutally effective.

Roca Lumbre & Pérula: Precision Territory

Continuing south, we enter the waters of Roca Lumbre and Pérula—true hotspots for roosterfish, cubera snapper, amberjack, pompano, and more. This is prime ground for popping and jigging, with live bait used strategically when conditions demand it. Nothing here is improvised. Every move is executed with purpose.

Barra de Navidad: Where the Game Scales Up

Depending on the length of the expedition, the journey may culminate in the Barra de Navidad region. Here, the fishery expands in scale, offering heavy inshore action alongside clear offshore opportunities for tuna, marlin, and large coastal predators.

Fishing Seasons & Recommendations

Peak season for roosterfish, tuna, marlin, jack crevalle, and more. High activity months with dynamic conditions and consistent opportunities both inshore and offshore.

An ideal season for cubera snapper, tuna, marlin, snappers, pompano, groupers, and additional species. Highly technical fishing that rewards precision, planning, and strategy.

April and May are key months if cubera snapper is your main target, while still offering excellent tuna opportunities.

If you have a target species or a specific fishing style in mind, contact us and we’ll design a custom expedition tailored to your objectives.

This expedition is recommended for 3.5 to 6.5 days, depending on the angler’s goals. Snook Mafia customizes each journey to the group’s needs, with a maximum capacity of 7 anglers, split between two boats (4 and 3 anglers) to ensure comfort, flexibility, and a highly personalized experience.

Who This Expedition Is For

This experience is designed for anglers who understand that true luxury isn’t comfort—it’s access, knowledge, and the freedom to follow the fish wherever it leads.
